Math breakthrough (finally!)

Carmen convinced me to tackle pharmacy calculations today instead of putting them off until August like I was planning. Thank GOD she did because I was about to have a complete meltdown trying to figure out milligrams per kilogram conversions on my own.

Math breakthrough (finally!)

We claimed a corner table at the Blue Cup around noon and I swear we went through three refills each before either of us could get through a single practice problem without wanting to throw the textbook across the room. Carmen kept making these dramatic sighing noises every time she had to start over, and I was basically ready to switch majors again.

But then something clicked! Carmen figured out this trick for setting up the equations and suddenly it all made sense.

We spent the next two hours flying through problems like we actually knew what we were doing. I can’t believe I was so scared of the math part - turns out I just needed someone to explain it who wasn’t a textbook.

Seriously considering making this our regular Tuesday thing. Carmen’s way better at keeping me focused than studying alone in my room where I just end up reorganizing my desk drawers instead of actually learning anything useful.
