Halloween Done Right

OMG you guys, I am DYING over what happened at Jessica’s Halloween party last night!! So I’m getting ready and I’m like, what should I be for Halloween? And then it hits me - I’m literally IN NURSING SCHOOL. Why would I buy some ridiculous “sexy nurse” costume when I have actual scrubs and a real stethoscope??

Halloween Done Right

So I show up in my clinical scrubs and this girl Ashley is there in one of those Halloween store costumes - you know the ones, like a white mini dress with a tiny hat and red cross. She looks me up and down and goes “Oh, you’re supposed to make it SEXY.” And I’m like… honey, I AM the sexy. I’m also the one who actually knows what a stethoscope is for! 😂

The best part? I spent literally zero dollars on my costume and still had guys asking if I could “check their heartbeat.” Meanwhile Ashley’s costume was falling apart by midnight. Sometimes being authentic is the best flex of all! Plus my clinical instructor would be SO proud that I represented the profession with dignity lol.

Anyway, hope everyone had a great Halloween! Back to studying for my pharmacology exam tomorrow because THAT’S what real nurses do!! 📚
