F-stop what now?
Sarah met me at Java Joe’s this afternoon with her fancy digital camera and infinite patience. Turns out there’s actually science behind taking pictures that don’t look like they were shot through a screen door during an earthquake. Who knew?

F-stop what now?
Spent two hours learning about aperture and shutter speed while she explained why my photos always come out looking like abstract art (and not the good kind). Sarah’s been doing photography since high school and makes it look effortless. Meanwhile I’m over here squinting at tiny numbers and accidentally taking seventeen pictures of the table.
But something clicked around photo number twenty-three. Got this shot of the afternoon light hitting the brick wall that actually looks… intentional? Like I meant for it to happen? Sarah got so excited she nearly knocked over her latte.

Practice makes perfect (or at least less blurry)
Pretty sure I’ve found my new obsession. My bank account is definitely not ready for this hobby.
