Living in Sin (and a Tiny Apartment)

👩‍⚕️ Elena 👨‍💻 Marcus

So we’ve been living together for exactly two weeks now and I have some observations.

First, Marcus takes longer in the bathroom than I do. I didn’t even know this was possible. I’m a girl with a skincare routine and somehow he beats me every morning. What is he DOING in there?

Second, he leaves towels on the floor like some kind of towel fairy is going to come pick them up.

I’ve started leaving them there to see how long it takes him to notice. Current record: four days.

But honestly? I love this tiny disaster of an apartment. Our kitchen is the size of a closet and we can barely both fit in it at the same time, but watching him try to cook pasta while I’m doing dishes is the most entertaining thing I’ve ever seen.

We eat takeout at our little island and our knees bump under the counter and it’s perfect.

Who knew that arguing about towel placement could be this fun? Don’t tell him I said that.
