Three exams in four days. My living room looks like a medical textbook exploded.

Ground zero study zone

Ground zero study zone

Iโ€™ve claimed the entire floor space because somehow I think better when I can spread everything out and see it all at once. Jake keeps stepping carefully around my fortress of flashcards and highlighted pages.

Pathophysiology tomorrow, then pharmacology Thursday, then my final anatomy practical Friday. The practical is the one that has me stressed - identifying structures on actual specimens with sixty seconds per station. No multiple choice safety net.

Mandatory stretch break before round two.

Mandatory stretch break before round two.

Taking breaks every hour because my back starts screaming from sitting on the floor. But Iโ€™m in the zone now. Carmen texted asking if I want to grab dinner but Iโ€™m surviving on granola bars and determination until Friday afternoon.

Almost there. Then I can rejoin the land of the living.
