Asked Jake to help me fold the clean laundry this afternoon. Twenty minutes later I find him trying on every single shirt like he’s preparing for a photo shoot.

‘I’m just making sure they still fit,’ he says, adjusting the collar on his green button-down for the third time. Then he starts posing in front of the dresser mirror like he’s auditioning for GQ.

Strike a pose, apparently.

Meanwhile, the laundry basket is still sitting there completely untouched. But I have to admit, watching him strike dramatic poses with dress shirts draped over his shoulder is way more entertaining than folding fitted sheets. Even if it means I’m doing laundry solo again.
