👩‍⚕️ Elena 👨‍💻 Marcus

We spent Valentine’s Day doing the most romantic thing imaginable: looking at houses with a realtor while Sophie napped at my parents’ and Theo drooled on everything. Marcus kept making jokes about ‘falling in love’ with crown molding, but honestly? When we walked through the front door of 2847 Creekwood Lane, I felt it.

The One

Four bedrooms. A real yard with actual grass. A garage where Marcus can finally set up his workshop and stop cluttering our apartment with his ‘projects.’ The kitchen has an island, you guys. An ISLAND. I’m already planning Christmas morning around that kitchen island.

The realtor could probably tell I was hooked before we made it to the second floor. Marcus was being all practical about square footage and property taxes, but I was already mentally arranging our furniture and picking paint colors. Sometimes you just know, right?

We’re putting in an offer tomorrow. Cross your fingers for us – I think this might actually be happening. Best Valentine’s Day ever, even if it involved discussing mortgage rates instead of chocolate.
