Unexpected planning committee

Alex texted around noon asking if he could swing by to grab some client files he’d left here after our last meeting. Twenty minutes later we’re both on the couch with laptops open, completely redesigning our summer workshop schedule over leftover coffee.

What started as a quick file pickup turned into one of those conversations where you realize you’re both thinking the same thing but neither of you has said it out loud yet. We’ve been talking for months about expanding beyond just the campus programs, maybe reaching out to some of the local gyms or community centers.

Nothing like a good brainstorming session

Two hours later and we’ve got a whole plan mapped out. Alex pulled up contact info for three different fitness centers while I sketched out potential workshop formats. Jake kept wandering through offering snacks and pretending he wasn’t eavesdropping on our increasingly excited planning session.

Sometimes the best work happens when you’re not trying to work at all. Now we just have to see if we’re brave enough to actually follow through on all these ideas we scribbled down.
