Salt, coffee, and questionable life choices

👩‍⚕️ Elena

7:15 AM. I’m running on four hours of sleep because someone decided to reorganize the entire spice cabinet at midnight (that someone being me). Jake’s already dressed for work, I’m shuffling around in yesterday’s sweatshirt, and I desperately need caffeine to become human.

So naturally, my brain-dead self grabs what I think is the sugar container and dumps a generous spoonful into my coffee. One sip later and I’m making faces that would scare small children. Jake, being the supportive boyfriend he is, immediately starts laughing and grabs his phone to document my misery.

The evidence. How do you even make this mistake?

Turns out when you reorganize spices at midnight, you might accidentally put the salt where the sugar usually lives. Who knew? Jake made me a fresh cup while I sat there questioning all my life choices. He’s still chuckling about it two hours later. At least one of us is entertained by my kitchen disasters.
