Happy New Year, everyone! I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling ridiculously optimistic about 2020. Something about the year just feels… clear. Like we’re going to see everything with perfect vision, you know?

Marcus rolled his eyes at my pun, but I stand by it. This is going to be our year. Sophie’s starting fourth grade, Theo’s discovering new words every day (yesterday’s favorite: “excavate” - thanks, dinosaur documentaries), and I’m finally feeling like I’ve got this whole work-life balance thing figured out. Famous last words, right?

We’re keeping our resolutions simple this year. More family game nights. More adventures. More saying yes to the good stuff. What could go wrong? Here’s to clear vision and whatever 2020 has in store for us.
