Jake just spent twenty minutes insisting that ‘The One Where Ross Says Rachel’ is the greatest Friends episode ever made, which is objectively wrong because everyone knows it’s ‘The One with the Embryos.’ The debate got so heated he disappeared into the bedroom and came back with his guitar.

‘I’ll settle this,’ he announced, then proceeded to butcher the theme song so badly that I think we both forgot what we were arguing about. Three chords in and I was crying laughing. His confidence remained unshaken.

His rendition of ‘I’ll Be There For You’ needs work

Turns out the real question isn’t which episode is best - it’s whether our neighbors are going to file a noise complaint. Sorry, Mrs. Henderson. We’ll keep the musical disasters to a minimum.

Also, for the record, it’s still ‘The One with the Embryos.’ The trivia game scene alone proves my point.
