Four Months of Biscuit
Today marks four months since we brought Biscuit home from the Wake County SPCA, and I’m getting sentimental about a dog. I know. But this little (okay, not so little anymore) guy came into our lives at exactly the right moment.

Four Months of Biscuit
I come home from twelve-hour shifts at the hospital feeling like I’m carrying the weight of the world, and there he is. Tail wagging, completely unbothered by pandemics or PPE shortages or any of it. He just puts his fluffy head on my lap and somehow makes everything feel manageable again. Theo has declared himself Biscuit’s “best friend forever” and honestly, the feeling seems mutual.

Theo insists on giving Biscuit his “anniversary treat”
We got this dog thinking we were doing him a favor, but turns out he was doing us one. Some days I think he’s the only reason we’re all still sane. Well, relatively sane. The jury’s still out on Marcus and his sourdough obsession.
Happy four-month anniversary, Biscuit. Thanks for being exactly what we needed when we needed it most.
