Bulletin board treasures
Stopped by The Grind for my usual Tuesday afternoon latte and ended up spending twenty minutes at their community bulletin board.

Bulletin board treasures
You know how you go in with one plan and walk out with three new ideas? That’s exactly what happened today.
There’s something magical about these old-school cork boards covered in layers of local announcements. Today’s finds: a neighborhood book club that meets at the library (they’re reading something called ‘The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo’), a community garden workday this Saturday, and someone offering pottery wheel sharing time at their home studio.

I grabbed business cards for all three. The pottery wheel sharing caught my attention especially - it’s this woman named Lisa who converted her garage into a studio and rents out time slots to other potters. Margaret would probably know her, but there’s something appealing about discovering these connections organically.
Jake’s going to laugh when I get home with another stack of ‘maybe projects,’ but honestly? This is how the best things happen. You go out for coffee and come back with possibilities.
