The plant whisperer visits
Sarah showed up this afternoon with a cardboard box full of succulent cuttings and approximately seventeen YouTube tutorials saved on her phone. Apparently she’s decided that what her perfectly organized life was missing was tiny plants that need ‘just the right amount of neglect.’

The plant whisperer visits
I offered to help but got immediately relegated to snack duty after I asked if we should water them. The look she gave me suggested I’d just proposed drowning puppies. So now I’m watching from a safe distance while she arranges her ‘propagation station’ on my breakfast bar with the precision of someone performing surgery.

The proud plant mom moment
The concentration on her face is honestly adorable. She’s got this whole system worked out - specific pots, special soil mix, even a little spray bottle that apparently cost more than my last grocery run. I’m genuinely impressed by her commitment to this new obsession.
Though I’m definitely not telling her that Jake’s been secretly researching plant care websites. Some things are better as surprises.
