Digital migration headaches
Spent my entire afternoon convinced I was smarter than my iPhone 15 Pro. Spoiler alert: I was not.

Digital migration headaches
The thing is, I finally upgraded from my perfectly functional iPhone 12 because the camera was starting to lag during my pottery documentation sessions with Margaret. Seemed simple enough—walk into the store, buy the new one, transfer everything over, done. But apparently ‘everything’ includes three years of photos I forgot I had, seventeen different apps I never use but can’t bring myself to delete, and a playlist from 2019 that my phone is now questioning the wisdom of.

The great phone migration in progress
Jake found me two hours later surrounded by charging cables and user guides, muttering at Siri because she couldn’t understand my request to ‘just make it work like the old one but better.’ He very helpfully pointed out that I could have just gone to the Apple Store and had them do it. Revolutionary concept.
The real kicker? After all that setup drama, the first photo I took was accidentally a 0.5x ultra-wide selfie that made me look like I was being photographed through a fishbowl. At least now I know every single feature I’ll never use. Progress, right?
