Theo turned four today and celebrated the only way he knows how - by roaring at every single person who walked through our door.

The kid has been practicing his T-Rex impression for months, and his birthday party was basically his debut performance. Our poor neighbors probably think we’re harboring actual dinosaurs.

Watching Sophie with him today reminded me how different my kids are. She spent an hour making him a card that says “you’re the best brother (sometimes)” - which is honestly the most accurate sibling assessment ever written.

She’s thoughtful and artistic, he’s pure chaos and volume. She plans, he destroys. She thinks, he acts. And somehow they balance each other perfectly.

Four years of this wild, wonderful, exhausting little human. He climbs everything, questions everything, and makes dinosaur noises at completely inappropriate times. Like during church. Or at the grocery store. Or at 6 AM on a Saturday. Marcus and I are basically just along for the ride at this point.
