Five Years of Theo (And One Very Photogenic Dog)
My baby turned five today and I had grand plans for the perfect birthday photos. You know the ones - cute kid, gorgeous cake, maybe a few tears of joy from his sentimental mother. What I got instead was a golden retriever in a party hat who apparently thinks he’s the guest of honor.

Five Years of Theo (And One Very Photogenic Dog)
Biscuit photobombed every single shot. And I mean every one. The cake photos? Biscuit’s nose in the frame. The candle-blowing moment? Biscuit’s party hat sliding over his eyes. The sweet mother-son portrait I definitely didn’t spend twenty minutes setting up? Biscuit literally sitting between us like he belongs there.

Every time I tried to get a nice birthday photo, someone with four legs had other plans
The funniest part? Theo didn’t care at all. He was too busy explaining to anyone who would listen that velociraptors were actually much smaller than Jurassic Park made them look. My five-year-old paleontologist and his furry photobombing assistant made this the most chaotic and perfect birthday yet.
I’m starting to think Biscuit has better camera instincts than the rest of us. The dog knows his angles and he’s not afraid to use them.
