Send button courage
Stared at my phone for twenty minutes before finally typing it out: “Hey everyone - wondering if anyone wants to start a regular anatomy study group? I know we all struggled with that last quiz and maybe we could help each other out?”

Send button courage
My finger hovered over the send button for another ten minutes. What if nobody responds? What if they think I’m trying too hard? What if I’m the only one who actually needs help and everyone else thinks the material is easy?

The moment of truth.
But then I remembered what Sarah said about putting yourself out there, and Jake walked through the kitchen right as I was chickening out for the third time. He saw me sitting there surrounded by my notes, looking pathetic, and just said “Whatever you’re overthinking, just do it.” So I did.
Three responses already. Turns out I’m definitely not the only one who could use some backup with the circulatory system. We’re meeting Thursday at the library. Sometimes the scariest step is just hitting send.
