Temperature check
Three weeks without consistent heat will teach you things about yourself and your relationship that you didn’t know you needed to learn.

Temperature check
Jake handles logistics like a project manager - calling repair services, researching furnace models, creating backup plans. I apparently become the morale officer, making sure we both eat actual meals and don’t murder each other when we’re wearing three layers of clothes inside our own apartment. We fell into these roles without discussing it, which is either really good or slightly concerning.
The weirdest part? When the heat finally kicked back on last Tuesday, we both just sat there for twenty minutes appreciating it. Not talking, just existing in our warm apartment like we’d discovered fire.

Thinking about how we’ve grown into this space together.
I keep thinking about how we handled the whole thing - no major fights, just two people figuring out how to be uncomfortable together and make it work.
Turns out we’re pretty good at crisis mode. Now I’m curious what we’re like when everything’s actually going smoothly.
