Mission partially accomplished

Three weeks of strategically timing my coffee runs to coincide with Jake’s study sessions and today I finally did it. Actually walked up to his table and asked about the chem lab assignment instead of just staring at him from across the room like a total creep.

Mission partially accomplished

He was actually really nice about explaining the molecular structure stuff I’ve been struggling with, and when I said thanks he was like “no problem, maybe we can study together sometime.” MAYBE WE CAN STUDY TOGETHER SOMETIME. I’m pretty sure I managed to say “yeah that sounds great” without my voice cracking but honestly I blacked out a little.

Now I’m sitting here pretending to review my notes but really just replaying every word of our five-minute conversation.
