Four Years Later
So that’s it. Four years of nursing school officially in the books. I walked out of my last final exam today and there was Marcus standing in the hallway with a little bouquet of daisies like some kind of romantic comedy character. I may have rolled my eyes but okay fine, it was actually really sweet.

Four Years Later
I keep thinking about freshman year me who had no idea what she was getting into. The clinical rotations that made me question everything, the study groups that turned into my closest friendships, the nights I wanted to quit and eat ice cream instead. But also the moments when everything clicked - when I knew this was exactly what I was supposed to be doing.
Now I just have to pass boards and find a job and become an actual nurse instead of just playing one in clinicals. No pressure or anything. But for today, I’m celebrating with my favorite nerd and his surprise flowers.
