Three weeks until the NCLEX and I’m basically living at this kitchen island. Books everywhere, highlighters in colors I didn’t know existed, and enough coffee to fuel a small city.

The crazy part? I actually love this stuff. Like, genuinely love learning about pediatric dosages and cardiac rhythms. But there’s this voice in my head going “what if you’re not smart enough?” “what if you fail?” “what if you’re just playing nurse and everyone finds out?”

Marcus has figured out the perfect support system though - he brings me coffee and doesn’t try to help or ask questions or tell me to take breaks. He just… exists nearby. Sometimes the best thing someone can do is just not talk.

Almost there. Almost a Real Nurse. Whatever that means.
