Study buddies

Sarah showed up with her anatomy textbook and this brilliant idea that we could quiz each other on muscle origins. Two hours later we’re both staring at the same diagram like it’s written in ancient Greek.

Turns out her professor uses completely different terminology than mine, so every time I’d say “trapezius” she’d be looking for “musculus trapezius” and we’d get into these weird circular conversations about whether we were even talking about the same body part. By the time Jake walked through with his camera we’d given up all pretense of productivity.

Study break = defeat break

Pretty sure we actually know less about anatomy now than when we started. Sarah’s coming back Thursday with her notes organized “properly” this time. I’m bringing coffee and lower expectations.

At least my living room floor is really comfortable for existential study crises.
