Four years ago, I started “Elena Unfiltered” as a scared freshman with too many opinions and not enough sense to keep them to myself. I wrote about nursing school stress, terrible dates (before Marcus), and whether I’d ever figure out my life.

Now I’m sitting here at 23 with a husband who still makes me laugh every day, a one-year-old who thinks laptop keys are the best toy ever invented, and a nursing degree I actually use. The blog isn’t just mine anymore - it’s ours. Every chaotic morning, every sweet moment, every time Marcus burns dinner (love you, babe).

So today, “Elena Unfiltered” officially becomes “The Hartwells.” Because this isn’t just my story anymore. It’s our story - all three of us, plus whoever else joins this beautiful mess we’re building. Same girl, same opinions (probably more of them), but now with backup dancers who steal the show.
