Two Down, Marriage Intact
Well, we did it. Our first married Thanksgiving managing both families, and somehow we’re all still speaking to each other.

Two Down, Marriage Intact
I have to say, Sophie was the real MVP today. She had both sets of grandparents wrapped around her little finger within minutes. Abuela Rosa kept saying she was “un angelito” while Patty just kept taking pictures of everything she did. Meanwhile, my dad and Ted found some mysterious common ground - they spent an hour in the garage talking about… something. Tools? Cars? The meaning of life? Your guess is as good as mine, but they emerged looking satisfied.
The best part was watching our moms compare notes on everything from stuffing recipes to the “right” way to fold napkins. Maria brought her famous flan, Patty brought her grandmother’s sweet potato casserole, and suddenly they were best friends planning next year’s menu together.
Two Thanksgivings, one very full belly, and a baby who charmed everyone in sight. I’d call that a successful first married holiday. Now someone please tell me there’s leftover pie.
