She’s been drawing nonstop for three days straight - on paper, on napkins, and yes, on the back of Marcus’s work printouts (sorry honey).

Marcus came home yesterday and found her latest masterpiece taped to the fridge. He just stood there staring at it with this expression I’ve never seen before. When I asked what was wrong, he said ‘Elena, look how she’s using the colors. Look at the way she’s seeing this.’ I looked closer and… he’s right. There’s something there.

She’s two years old and already has better artistic vision than her father’s stick figure phase. Marcus is pretending to be offended but I caught him watching YouTube videos about ‘encouraging creativity in toddlers’ last night. I think we’re about to become one of those families with art supplies everywhere.
