Caught myself doing that thing this morning where you stand sideways in the mirror and suck in your stomach. Then let it out. Then suck it back in. Like somehow the third time will reveal different results.

But here’s what I actually saw: shoulders that can carry a full patient load through clinical rotations. Arms that can hold warrior III for thirty seconds without shaking. Legs that ran a 10K and still had energy to coach Michelle through her first hill intervals the next day.

The scale hasn’t moved much lately, but my body is doing exactly what I’m asking it to do. Supporting fourteen-hour study sessions, keeping up with Jake’s random dance lesson experiments, and still showing up for morning yoga even when my brain wants to stay in bed. That’s worth more than whatever number flashes up between my toes.
