Down the research rabbit hole
Started reviewing a chapter on physical therapy interventions around 2pm. Somehow ended up reading about the evolution of artificial limbs from ancient Egypt to modern prosthetics.

Down the research rabbit hole
My textbook is still open to page 247, but I’ve got seventeen browser tabs open and three different library books pulled from our shelf.
Jake walked in an hour ago and just started laughing. Apparently I’ve created what he calls my “academic crime scene” - papers everywhere, highlighters without caps, that intense concentration face that means I’ve forgotten to eat lunch again.

Caught in the act of learning too much
The worst part? I’m genuinely excited about myoelectric prosthetics now. This is what nursing school does to your brain.
The original assignment was supposed to take thirty minutes. But when you discover that the first prosthetic toe was found on an Egyptian mummy and still functioned after 2,000 years? You keep reading. Jake ordered Thai food and said he’d quiz me on whatever I actually needed to know for tomorrow’s exam. Best study partner ever.
