Taco bar engineering
Alex volunteered to help set up a taco bar for Sarah’s promotion celebration tonight, which sounded great in theory. In practice, it means my kitchen looks like a Mexican restaurant exploded and Alex has somehow managed to coat every surface with cheese.

I’m not sure how someone gets shredded cheddar on their sleeve while the cheese is supposed to be going in a bowl, but Alex has achieved this feat twice now. He’s approaching taco assembly like it’s a complex engineering project, complete with detailed discussions about optimal lettuce-to-tomato ratios.

Chef Alex discovers the hazards of enthusiastic cheese grating
Jake’s been documenting this whole production from a safe distance, probably because he knows better than to get between Alex and his organizational systems. Sarah’s going to walk in here in an hour expecting a normal celebration and instead she’s getting whatever this controlled chaos situation is. At least the tacos will be good - assuming we can locate them under all the prep work carnage.
