The great paper explosion of 2017
Decided this afternoon would be perfect for a quick organization session. You know, just sort through that pile of nursing notes, old workout plans, and random papers that’s been growing on Jake’s desk. Fifteen minutes, tops.

Two hours later and I’m sitting in what looks like a tornado hit a Staples store. Apparently when I pulled out that one folder, it was somehow the structural support for an entire ecosystem of documents. Physics lesson learned: everything was balanced in a very specific way that I have now completely destroyed.
The best part? Jake comes home in an hour and this disaster zone is directly in his line of sight from the front door. Nothing says ‘I’m a responsible adult’ quite like being found sitting cross-legged in a sea of scattered index cards, looking like I’ve given up on life.
