Sarah texted at 8am with ‘want to see a waterfall?’ and somehow I said yes without asking the important questions. Like how far. Or how steep. Or why she was grinning like that.

Four hours and approximately three mountains later, we’re back at my place and she’s doing her best impression of a hiking casualty. The waterfall was gorgeous, don’t get me wrong. Worth every blister and that moment when I thought we were genuinely lost. Sarah’s already planning our next ‘quick adventure’ while simultaneously claiming she can’t feel her legs.
