The ceramic bowl passed my crack-inspection test and the books include a 1980s cookbook that has some seriously questionable Jell-O recipes that I absolutely need to try.

Plus the lady at the third sale threw in the cheese grater for free because I bought her daughter’s old nursing textbooks. Community karma at work.

Jake’s already eyeing my finds with that look that says we need to have another conversation about storage solutions. But honestly? These three books cost less than one coffee at The Grind, and I’m pretty sure that ceramic bowl is going to be perfect for my heritage cooking experiments.
