Monday ambitions meet Monday reality
Jake just woke me up from what I’m generously calling a ‘strategic study break’ but was actually me face-planting into my nursing notes around 6 PM.

Monday ambitions meet Monday reality
Apparently he found me like this and decided it was photo-worthy instead of, you know, getting me a blanket.
I had such good intentions today. Plan was to organize all my heritage keeper materials from Abuela Rosa and get ahead on this week’s clinical prep. Instead I created what Jake is calling ‘beautiful chaos’ - recipe cards mixed with anatomy diagrams, highlighters without caps, and three different notebooks all open to random pages.

The evidence of my ambitious Monday plans
The pen marks on my cheek really complete the look.
The funniest part? I was dreaming about teaching Abuela’s mole recipe to my nursing study group. My brain is officially broken. But Jake made coffee and ordered Thai food, so maybe this Monday isn’t completely lost.
Note to self: heritage keeper training and nursing school both require actual organization, not just good intentions and caffeine. Who knew?
