Decided to finally organize our coffee pod situation this morning because we’ve been going through them faster than usual. Turns out there’s a very simple explanation: I’ve been buying the premium pods instead of the regular ones for the past six months.

He didn’t even say anything, just handed me my regular coffee and patted my head like I was Biscuit after he ate something he shouldn’t have.

On the bright side, I now understand why our coffee has been tasting so good lately. On the not-so-bright side, I apparently can memorize every bone in the human body but can’t distinguish between a $12 box and a $6 box of coffee pods. Nursing school has officially broken my brain.

Back to the store brand everything until I figure out where the rest of my budget went wrong. But first, one more cup of this accidentally fancy coffee because I already opened the box.
