Apparently my hair decided to stage a revolt overnight.

This is what happens when you go to bed with damp hair after a late shower - you wake up looking like you’ve been electrocuted by a very stylish lightning bolt.

The worst part? I have to be at the hospital in two hours and this mess is going to require actual intervention. Not just the usual ponytail-and-go situation I was hoping for. Jake walked into the kitchen while I was waiting for the coffee maker to work its magic

and had the audacity to say I looked “cute.” Bless his heart, but cute doesn’t cut it when you’re trying to look professional.

Currently debating between braids, a very aggressive hair tie situation, or just embracing the chaos and hoping my scrub cap covers the worst of it. The coffee better kick in soon because this is going to require strategy.
