My iPhone finally cracked the code. After eight months of suggesting Taylor Swift deep cuts and random indie folk I definitely never searched for, Spotify’s weekly playlist actually hit different today.

Like, legitimately good stuff I’d never heard but somehow knew I’d love within the first ten seconds.

Spent the entire afternoon letting it play while organizing my pottery supplies (because apparently that’s my life now). Every single song was a yes. Not a skip in sight. Even Jake noticed when he got home - usually I’m switching between three different playlists trying to find the right mood.

Found my zone.

Ended up flat on my yoga mat just soaking it all in. Sometimes technology gets it right. Who knew my phone was paying attention to those random 2am deep dives into obscure indie rock and that one week I was obsessed with lo-fi jazz?

Now I’m terrified to skip anything because what if I break the spell? The algorithm gods have smiled upon me and I will not tempt fate.
