Glue stick archaeology
Carmen showed up with a grocery bag full of construction paper and announced we were doing Valentine’s cards “the right way this year.” Apparently buying them at CVS doesn’t count.

Glue stick archaeology
Six adults sitting cross-legged on my living room floor, arguing over whether glitter is “too much” and who gets the good scissors. Sarah’s making architectural masterpieces with perfect fold lines. Michelle’s cards look like they belong in a gallery. Alex keeps insisting his stick figures are “minimalist art.”

The real artistry happens in the details.
Jake’s documenting the whole thing like we’re creating the Sistine Chapel instead of paper hearts with inside jokes. Carmen’s already planning next year’s supplies list. Some traditions are worth the mess.
