Like, I knew anatomy would be challenging, but memorizing every single bone, muscle, and nerve? My brain feels like it’s going to leak out my ears.
Started with medical terminology this morning thinking it would be the easy warm-up class. Wrong. Apparently there’s a whole different language I need to learn before I can even think about patient care. Carmen stopped by while I was drowning in flashcards

Deep in anatomy notes - bone names are harder than I thought
and just laughed at the chaos on my desk. Easy for her to say - she’s not the one trying to pronounce ‘sternocleidomastoid’ without sounding like she’s having a stroke.
The weird thing is, even though my head is spinning, I’m actually excited? Like, this feels real in a way pre-med never did. These aren’t just abstract concepts I need to memorize for a test - this is stuff I’ll actually use to help people. Still terrifying, but the good kind of terrifying.
Back to the books. If anyone needs me, I’ll be the girl muttering bone names under her breath in the library.
