Finding my voice in room 204B
Third week with the nursing study group and something clicked today. Instead of sitting there trying to look like I belonged, I actually started talking.

Finding my voice in room 204B
It started when this girl Sarah was struggling with the circulatory system diagrams and I found myself explaining how I remembered the pathway - turns out all those hours staring at my anatomy book while Carmen was at the gym actually paid off. Before I knew it, I was drawing little arrows on the whiteboard and everyone was nodding like what I was saying made sense.

Actually contributing to the conversation instead of just nodding along.
Weird how much easier it gets when you stop worrying about being the new person and just focus on the actual work. These people aren’t judging my highlighter organization system or the fact that I write notes in three different colors - they’re just trying to pass their exams like me.
Carmen waited for me outside the library afterwards with this huge grin on her face. Apparently she could hear me talking through the door and was proud that I finally found my groove. Sometimes having a best friend who believes in you before you believe in yourself makes all the difference.
