After helping that girl with her anatomy homework last week, I kept thinking about how many nursing students seem to be struggling with the same concepts. Instead of waiting for someone else to organize something, I decided to just do it myself.

I showed up to our Fundamentals classroom early today and set up a proper sign-up sheet for weekly study sessions. Nothing fancy - just my name, contact info, and slots for people who want to meet Sunday afternoons in the library.

Three people signed up before class even started. I’m nervous about actually leading these sessions, but I figured if I can explain muscle groups to a random stressed-out sophomore, I can probably handle a small group of my actual classmates. Plus, Sarah’s running group showed me that sometimes taking the first step is the hardest part.

First official study session is this Sunday. Time to see if I’m actually cut out for this whole peer tutoring thing or if I just got lucky that one time at Caribou.
