Equipment expert in training

The hardest part isn’t the equipment explanations or even dealing with people who think they know better than the safety rules. It’s the constant mental juggling between work mode and study mode. I’ll be helping someone with proper squat form and suddenly remember I have that anatomy quiz Thursday. Or I’m reviewing muscle groups for class and realize I forgot to wipe down the cardio machines.

Jake stopped by during my shift today and caught me actually looking like I knew what I was doing. Small victories. Now if I could just figure out how to fit my study schedule around these evening shifts without my brain turning to mush.

Still beats food service though. At least here when people are cranky, they’re usually just tired from working out instead of hangry.
