Actual planning session
Five of us crammed around Sarah’s coffee table this afternoon with notebooks and way too much caffeine, turning New Year’s resolutions into something that might actually stick.

Actual planning session
Instead of the usual ‘get in shape’ or ‘be happier’ nonsense, we’re writing down specific things with actual deadlines. Carmen wants to deadlift her bodyweight by March. Sarah’s training for the Boston Marathon qualifier. Jake’s learning Spanish well enough to have real conversations with his coworkers by summer. Michelle’s launching her photography side business before her birthday.
My list got pretty long pretty fast. Officially declare nursing as my major by February. Complete my first paid client training program with Michelle and get her to her fitness goals. Actually move in with Jake without overthinking it to death.

The evidence of actual planning instead of random wishes.
Turns out when you write things down next to people who’ll call you out if you slack off, everything feels more possible and more terrifying at the same time.
