Group text courage

👩‍⚕️ Elena

Anatomy final is three weeks away and I’ve been staring at the same chapter for an hour. The smart move would be studying with other people, but asking classmates to form a study group feels weirdly vulnerable. What if they think I’m struggling? What if no one responds?

Finally drafted something simple: “Hey everyone - anatomy final study group at my place this weekend? I have coffee and we can tackle the circulatory system together.” Took me twenty minutes to write two sentences. The overthinking is real.

But here’s the thing - I actually know this stuff pretty well. Sarah keeps telling me I explain concepts better than some of our professors. Maybe instead of waiting for someone else to organize something, I should just… organize it myself. Worst case, I study alone like I was going to anyway. Best case, I help some classmates while solidifying my own understanding. Win-win, right? Message sent.
