Remember that post I wrote about finishing the 10K with Carmen? Turns out Sarah Chen from my anatomy study group has been reading along this whole time. Who knew?

She reached out yesterday asking if I’d be interested in joining her running group. Apparently they meet twice a week and she thinks I’d fit right in with their pace and energy. It’s funny how putting yourself out there online can create these unexpected bridges to real-world opportunities.

I keep thinking about how different this feels from when I first started writing here. Back then it was just me processing my own thoughts, maybe hoping someone would relate. Now it’s actually connecting me to people and experiences I never would have found otherwise. Sarah’s group sounds exactly like what I need as I gear up for nursing school - structured but flexible, supportive but challenging.

Guess it’s time to expand my running circle beyond just Carmen. Though knowing her, she’d probably want to check out the group too. Nothing like having your workout buddy scope out the competition.
