Spent most of today bouncing between different sorority houses for rush events.

Three hours of small talk, trying to remember which house had the best cookies, and pretending I’m not completely overwhelmed by all the matching outfits and coordinated enthusiasm.

The weird part is how much I actually enjoyed some of it. A few of the girls were genuinely cool, and there’s something appealing about having that instant built-in community.

But then I think about my nursing study group and the running group Sarah and I are building, and wonder if I really need another commitment right now.

Carmen thinks I’m overthinking it - she says I can always drop if it doesn’t work out. Jake just laughed when I told him about the recruitment chants. Still have two more events tomorrow before I have to decide if I’m actually doing this whole sorority thing.
