Moving day logistics
Alex texted this morning asking if I could help move his mom’s piano tomorrow. Not help move it exactly - apparently you need actual professionals for that - but help coordinate the whole operation. Which somehow translated into me spending two hours organizing moving supplies like I’m running a military campaign.

Turns out I have strong opinions about proper box labeling and furniture pad distribution. Who knew? Jake keeps walking by shaking his head at my color-coded system, but this is someone’s baby grand we’re talking about. You don’t just wing it.
The funny thing is, Alex probably could have handled this himself, but I think he genuinely wanted the company while stressing about it. Sometimes helping isn’t really about the task.

Mission accomplished, apparently.
Plus, now I get to boss around a bunch of movers tomorrow, which honestly sounds like a good time.
