Unexpected doors
Three years of writing about my random thoughts and training adventures, and apparently people actually read this thing. Got an email yesterday from someone who found my blog through Sarah Chen’s running group recommendations - she’s been sharing my race recap posts with new members who are training for their first 5K.

Unexpected doors
Turns out Sarah’s been quietly building this whole community of runners who support each other through everything from couch-to-5K programs to marathon training. She mentioned it casually a few months ago, but I didn’t realize how organized and welcoming the group really is. Now she’s asking if I want to help co-lead some of the beginner sessions this spring.
Sitting here with my laptop, scrolling through three years of posts about stumbling through my first race, panicking about 10K training, celebrating tiny victories. It’s weird to think these rambling entries about my messy running journey might actually help someone else feel less alone in theirs.

Blog therapy session in progress.
Maybe it’s time to step out from behind the screen and see what this community thing is all about in person. Sarah’s group meets Tuesday evenings at the campus rec center - same place I’ve been going solo for years. Funny how you can be surrounded by potential friends and not even know it.
